Weak, I know.

I must apologize for being so “out of touch,” I suppose. I’ve sort of been distracted by things as of late but I will be posting new articles soon. Again, sorry for the boring gap.

Nature Sure is Curious
Friday, November 7, 2008 at 6:18 pm
Somewhat different than the usual posts but nature is what we’re all try to save by being green. I noticed this cute little spider outside my house yesterday and was amazed by the complexity of his colors! I’ve never seen a spider like this around here before. Could this be a new arrival? Or could I just not know much about bugs, well both are likely… but the latter is probably more. If I had my macro on my I would have nice pics, but these do the job. (more…)

Obama Has Done It!
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 12:37 am
I am happy to say that this great country of our’s has finally done the right thing and elected someone who has a chance to bring about change. We’ve come a long way over the years and I won’t bother to regale you with the great strides we’ve taken, but this one shall be added to the list of momentous events in our history.
I wish President Elect Barack Obama the best of luck and I sincerely hope, and believe, he will bring this country to a new level. Keep to your standards; educate the masses, research clean technologies and medicine, and show us what it means to be American and let us prosper with a green future.

There will be more added as time goes on to compartmentalize the site more and increase accesibilty to those who don’t read the blog everday. I want to make this more of a resource than simply a feed.

Another New Design
Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 10:44 pm
Yes, I’m still not completely satisfied with the layout, so I’m changing it once again… The process may be a bit slower this time, but the pages should all function normally, for the most part while I make the transition.
Sorry for the inconvenience and feedback would be MUCH appreciated.

Shave Emmisions with The Blade?
Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 12:31 am
While trying to not sound like an ad I bring to your attention this neat little invention from Sabertec; The Blade. This gizmo attaches to the tailpipe of a car and reduces CO2 emissions and improves fuel economy. Originally developed in Brazil the Blade has been tested by a California Air Resource Board and shown to reduce emissions by up to 12% (in smaller four cylinder cars, like a Yaris!) and improve millage by up to 2.7-5mpg (city/hwy). This $200 miracle worker, combined with other techniques to keep your car in good shape, is a great solution for people that can’t afford a hydrogen or an (elusive) electric car.
Thanks to Natioal Geographic again, for bringing this interesting invention to my attention. If you’d like to see the data given by the company in their press kit, check out this PDF.
